Product Description

If you want to cut your energy consumption at home, what's the best way to go about it? Beyond switching to more efficient bulbs, it can be hard to know just what's drawing power in your house and what can be trimmed. Not to mention that malfunctions in appliances could be causing power spikes you don't even know about. A simple sensor, installed and improved for NASA's Sustainability Base, plugs in to your electric panel and can send a full report to your phone. Problem solved.

NASA Description

When NASA wanted to build the greenest, most energy-efficient federal building in the United States, it needed a way to keep track of the energy being consumed. After all, good design is only the first step — at a certain point, people were going to be using the space. The agency partnered with a company whose sensor "listens" to electronic signals as they pass through a circuit panel and can pinpoint which devices and systems are using power and how much.
